Greg's early working life was in the stock and station industry and in 1972 he took on the role of Real Estate Manager of Dalgety and Co in Marlborough. Greg later went into business in Marlborough on his own account, until 1987 when he moved to Christchurch and purchased MB Cook and Co.

As Principal of Cook Commercial, Greg draws on his wide experience in all facets of the Commercial and Industrial real estate business to the benefit of the Company's clients. He is an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (AREINZ) and has represented the commercial and industrial interests of the Canterbury Real Estate Institute at national level. Greg is also a qualified Property Valuer but has chosen to follow a career in sales and leasing.

Paul Lewis - FREINZ

Commercial and Industrial Specialist

Paul's involvement in the Real Estate industry spans 30 continuous years running his own company Paul Lewis Realty Ltd until March 1997 when Ray White purchased the Papanui office to assist with their expansion plans. In 1981 he became a licensed auctioneer and was an executive of the Auctioneer's Association. Paul was elected to the Canterbury Westland District REINZ in 1985, serving on all committees of investigation and disputes and was elected District President in 1995-96. The honour of Fellow of the Real Estate of New Zealand was bestowed on him in 1998.

After hours, Paul is a tutor for the Open Polytechnic, running courses for new entrants to the real estate profession and in what spare time he has, he enjoys fishing, shooting, boating and tennis.

Bill brings over 10 years of experience in Commercial and Industrial Sales and Leasing. His previous experience of 23 years of livestock farming includes several farming related directorships.

Gavin Ryan - MREINZ

Gavin entered the field of Commercial and Industrial real estate in 2000 after an extensive period in the furniture and joinery industry. He went straight from school into this industry, and achieved Apprentice of the Year in Furniture Manufacture. Gavin purchased the furniture manufacturing business from his employer and was involved in the restructuring of the industry's old apprenticeship into NZQA Standards. His time in this industry also saw him associated with an export award.

At Cook Commercial, his focus is in the Commercial and Industrial project development sphere. Gavin says…"I am passionate about the facilitation process, bringing business owners, investors and land owners together and working through a development project to a successful conclusion". Linda came to Commercial and Industrial real estate after a number of years running her own businesses. These included hair and beauty, clothing manufacture and retail and décor businesses. Following this period Linda worked in residential real estate for 2 years followed by 2 years in business sales before joining Cook Commercial in 2006. While Linda handles Commercial, Industrial and Retail sales at Cook Commercial, her main focus is on Business Sales and Leasing (either large or small).

Mary Cooper - AREINZ

Born and educated in Christchurch, Mary first worked for a Trust company and then an international export and marketing company before commencing work in Commercial and Industrial real estate in 1987. In 2000 she joined the team at MB Cook and Co. and now handles all aspects of Commercial and Industrial real estate. She is an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (AREINZ), which she obtained in 1995 and has served on the Canterbury/Westland REINZ District Committee for four years.

Outside her work with Cook Commercial, Mary's special interest is music. She has been involved with several bands over the years and has stood as Vice President of the Musicians' Club in Christchurch.
